Job Summary
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat disorders of speech, language, cognitive communication, voice, and swallowing while consulting with patients, families, and caregivers. Deliver quality, patient-centered care by collaborating with care teams and stakeholders, adhering to system and regulatory guidelines for documentation and billing. Participate in patient care conferences, interdisciplinary meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives within the Intermountain Operating Model. Provide mentoring and supervision for students and new hires while promoting continuing education for staff. Maintain effective communication with peers and stakeholders, ensuring compliance with productivity standards and Intermountain Health values.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Communication Disorders/Speech Language Pathology or equivalent
- Current licensure in state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers
- If driving is required, current driver's license, insured, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record
Desired Qualifications
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) Preferred
