Job Summary
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat disorders of speech, language, cognitive communication, voice, and swallowing. Consult, educate, and train patients, families, and caregivers while collaborating with care teams to deliver quality, patient-centered care. Provide skilled clinical services utilizing evidence-based practices and participate in mentoring students and new hires. Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, attend interdisciplinary meetings, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Intermountain Operating Model. Comply with regulatory requirements for documentation, billing, and working hours while meeting established productivity standards.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Communication Disorders/Speech Language Pathology or equivalent
- Current licensure in state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers
- If driving is required, current driver's license, insured, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record
Desired Qualifications
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) Preferred
