Job Summary

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat disorders of speech, language, cognitive communication, voice, and swallowing while consulting, educating, and training patients, families, and caregivers. Collaborate with care teams and stakeholders to deliver quality, patient-centered care using evidence-based practices and appropriate service intensity. Comply with system and regulatory requirements for documentation, billing, and working hours, while maintaining effective relationships with peers and external stakeholders. Participate in patient care conferences, interdisciplinary meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives under the Intermountain Operating Model. Mentoring and supervision of students and new hires are included in daily responsibilities.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Communication Disorders/Speech Language Pathology or equivalent
  • Current licensure in state of practice
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers
  • If driving is required, current driver's license, insured, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record

Desired Qualifications

  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) Preferred
