Job Summary

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat disorders of speech, language, cognitive communication, voice, and swallowing for patients in Heber. Consult, educate, and train patients, families, and caregivers while collaborating with care teams to deliver patient-centered services. Adhere to system and regulatory requirements for documentation, billing, and working hours, maintaining effective communication with peers and stakeholders. Participate in patient care conferences, interdisciplinary meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives within the Intermountain Operating Model. Mentors students and new hires while promoting continuing education opportunities for staff.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Communication Disorders/Speech Language Pathology or equivalent
  • Current licensure in state of practice
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers
  • If driving is required, current driver's license, insured, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record

Desired Qualifications

  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) Preferred
