Job Summary
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat disorders of speech, language, cognitive communication, voice, and swallowing for patients in the Heber City home services setting. Provide skilled clinical services using evidence-based practices while consulting, educating, and training patients, families, and caregivers. Collaborate with care teams and stakeholders to deliver patient-centered care, participate in interdisciplinary meetings, and mentor students or new hires. Comply with system regulatory requirements for documentation, billing, and working hours, while maintaining effective communication with peers and external stakeholders. Engage in continuous improvement initiatives and promote continuing education opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Communication Disorders/Speech Language Pathology or equivalent
- Current licensure in state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers
- If driving is required, current driver's license, insured, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record
Desired Qualifications
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) Preferred
