Job Summary

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat disorders of speech, language, cognitive communication, voice, and swallowing while consulting, educating, and training patients, families, and caregivers. Collaborate with care teams and stakeholders to deliver quality, patient-centered care using evidence-based practices and appropriate service intensity. Maintain effective communication with peers and stakeholders, participate in patient care conferences and interdisciplinary meetings, and mentor students and new hires. Comply with system regulatory requirements for documentation, billing, and working hours while meeting established productivity standards. Promote Intermountain Health's mission and values through continuous improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Communication Disorders/Speech Language Pathology or equivalent
  • Current licensure in state of practice
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers
  • If driving is required, current driver's license, insured, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record

Desired Qualifications

  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) Preferred
