Job Summary
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat disorders of speech, language, cognitive communication, voice, and swallowing for patients in Heber City. Consult, educate, and train patients, families, and caregivers while collaborating with care teams to deliver patient-centered services. Maintain effective communication with peers and stakeholders, participate in patient care conferences and interdisciplinary meetings, and mentor students and new hires. Comply with system regulatory requirements for documentation, billing, and working hours, while meeting established productivity standards. Promote continuing education opportunities for self and staff, and actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Intermountain Operating Model.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Communication Disorders/Speech Language Pathology or equivalent
- Current licensure in state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers
- If driving is required, current driver's license, insured, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record
Desired Qualifications
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) Preferred
