Job Summary
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat disorders of speech, language, cognitive communication, voice, and swallowing while consulting, educating, and training patients, families, and caregivers. Collaborate with care teams and stakeholders to deliver patient-centered services, participate in interdisciplinary meetings, and mentor students and new hires. Comply with system regulatory requirements for documentation, billing, and working hours while maintaining effective relationships with peers and external stakeholders. Meet established productivity standards and promote continuing education opportunities for self and staff. This 12-hour weekly role in Heber City, Utah, supports Intermountain Health's mission through evidence-based practices and continuous improvement initiatives within the home services setting.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Communication Disorders/Speech Language Pathology or equivalent
- Current licensure in state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers
- If driving is required, current driver's license, insured, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record
Desired Qualifications
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) Preferred
