Job Summary
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat disorders of speech, language, cognitive communication, voice, and swallowing while consulting, educating, and training patients, families, and caregivers. Collaborate with care teams and stakeholders to deliver quality, patient-centered care by participating in patient care conferences, interdisciplinary meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain effective communication with peers and stakeholders, mentor students and new hires, and comply with system regulatory requirements for documentation and billing. Provide skilled clinical services utilizing evidence-based practices and meet established productivity standards.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Communication Disorders/Speech Language Pathology or equivalent
- Current licensure in state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers
- If driving is required, current driver's license, insured, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record
Desired Qualifications
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) Preferred
