Job Summary
Provide dedicated, one-on-one pediatric home health nursing care for high-acuity patients, focusing fully on the child and family without juggling multiple cases. Deliver skilled nursing for tracheostomy care, G-tube management, and ventilation needs while maintaining consistent relationships within the home environment. Utilize clinical judgment with confidence supported by 24/7 clinical assistance, respiratory therapist mentorship, and clear physician orders. Maintain strict adherence to CDC safety guidelines with provided PPE and complete required training, including the 2-hour DOEA Alzheimer's course. Requires current active Florida RN license, BLS CPR card, and relevant experience or willingness to train.
Required Qualifications
- Current, active Florida RN license
- Current BLS CPR card (obtained in-person, not online)
- G-tube, trach, vent experience, or willing to train
- TB Skin Test (PPD) or TB Blood Test (QF)
Desired Qualifications
- Alzheimer's training - 2 Hour DOEA Approved Course (provided at no cost if needed)
- Hour DOEA Alzheimer's Video (provided free of cost on DOEA website)
