Homecare Registered Nurse: Tracheostomy Care

Job Summary
Provide dedicated, one-on-one pediatric home health nursing care for patients with high-acuity needs, focusing fully on the child and their family. Manage tracheostomy care, G-tube management, and ventilator support while utilizing clinical judgment in a calm, controlled environment. Collaborate with respiratory therapists for training and mentorship, utilizing clear care plans and physician orders to deliver skilled nursing. Maintain compliance with CDC safety guidelines using provided PPE, including masks, gloves, and hand sanitizer. Requires current active Florida RN license, BLS CPR card, and experience or willingness to train in trach, G-tube, and vent care. Includes weekly pay, PTO, and flexible scheduling.
Required Qualifications
- Current, active Florida RN license
- Current BLS CPR card (obtained in-person, not online)
- G-tube, trach, vent experience, or willing to train
- TB Skin Test (PPD) or TB Blood Test (QF)
- Alzheimer's training - 2 Hour DOEA Approved Course (provided at no cost if needed)
- Hour DOEA Alzheimer's Video (provided free of cost on DOEA website)
