Job Summary
Provide dedicated, one-on-one care for pediatric patients with high acuity needs in the home, focusing fully on the child and family while utilizing clinical judgment with confidence. Deliver skilled nursing in a calm, controlled environment, supported by respiratory therapists for training and mentorship, and rely on 24/7 clinical assistance for guidance. Maintain patient safety by adhering to CDC guidelines with provided PPE, including masks, gloves, and hand sanitizer. Manage care through clear physician orders and an easy-to-use employee portal for shift requests and community connection. Requires a current, active Florida RN license, BLS CPR certification, and experience or willingness to train in G-tube, trach, or vent care.
Required Qualifications
- Current, active Florida RN license
- Current BLS CPR card (obtained in-person, not online)
- G-tube, trach, vent experience, or willing to train
- TB Skin Test (PPD) or TB Blood Test (QF)
Desired Qualifications
- Alzheimer's training - 2 Hour DOEA Approved Course (provided at no cost if needed)
- Hour DOEA Alzheimer's Video (provided free of cost on DOEA website)
