Job Summary
Provide in-home Homemaker / Home Care Aide services to help clients stay safe, comfortable, and independent. Responsibilities include meal planning and preparation, light housekeeping (beds, dusting, vacuuming, floors, kitchens and bathrooms), laundry, running errands and facilitating essential shopping, transporting clients as needed, accompanying clients to medical appointments, providing companionship and emotional support, assisting with communication (writing/typing), following the written care plan and agency policies, observing changes in client condition and reporting concerns, completing daily activity records, and attending orientation and trainings. Must be in good physical health, pass an agency exam with 75%+; requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license (if transporting clients) and automobile insurance.
