Job Summary
Provide essential in-home support to clients to help them stay safe, comfortable, and independent. Duties include meal planning and preparation, light housekeeping (beds, dusting, vacuuming, floors, kitchens, bathrooms, laundry), running errands and assisting with shopping, escorting clients to appointments and outings, providing companionship and emotional support, assisting with written communication and information research, following the written care plan and agency policies, observing client condition and reporting concerns, and maintaining accurate activity records. Requires good physical health, the ability to pass an agency exam, and a valid driver’s license with insurance; supervision is provided by a supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Related training or experience is a plus
- Valid driver’s license
- Valid automobile insurance
