Job Summary
Conduct essential in-home support for individuals requiring assistance due to age, illness, or disability by performing light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation. Assist clients with essential shopping, errands, and transportation to medical appointments while handling approved funds and special diet plans. Provide companionship, emotional support, and communication assistance, including writing correspondence and researching information. Observe client condition changes and report concerns to the Supervisor, maintaining accurate daily records. Requires a valid driver's license, bilingual English and Spanish skills, and passing the agency exam with 75% or better. Full-time and part-time roles offer health, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Valid automobile insurance
- Must be in good physical health
- Must pass agency exam with a score of 75% or higher
- Bilingual: English & Spanish
