Job Summary
Conduct live and virtual presentations to educate prospective applicants and represent the organization at community fairs and outreach events. Manage early-stage applicant intake, perform preliminary eligibility reviews, and coordinate homeowner selection committee meetings while ensuring compliance with Fair Housing and Equal Credit Opportunity standards. Provide ongoing coaching to volunteer Empowerment Coaches and banking partners, then facilitate onboarding and orientation for newly selected Future Homeowners. Serve as the first point of contact for inquiries, coordinate workshops including the Youth Empowerment Program, and maintain relationships with community partners. This full-time role requires Monday through Friday hours with some evening and weekend work, frequent local travel, and bilingual ability in Spanish or Creole is strongly preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in community outreach, applicant intake, eligibility screening, mortgage or housing program origination, case management, or a related field
- Experience coordinating volunteers, community partners, or public-facing education and engagement activities
- Bachelor's degree in communications, human services, business, education, affordable housing, or a related field
- Ability to obtain and maintain Qualified Loan Originator (QLO) Certification
- Full-time position, Monday through Friday, with some evening and weekend work required
- Frequent local travel for presentations, fairs, workshops, meetings, and special events may be required
