Job Summary
Homebound Teacher delivering individualized instruction to students across St. Louis County in a homebound setting. Collaborate with families, IEP case managers, classroom teachers, and counselors to develop and deliver engaging programs that respond to each student’s needs. Instruction may be delivered on days, nights, and/or weekends; scheduling is mutually agreed with the family. Requires a Bachelor’s degree with specialization in special education or general education and Missouri certification in the appropriate area. Salary is $42/hour for part-time work; calendar follows August to May as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with specialization in special education or general education required
- Missouri certification in appropriate area of specialization: special education: (BD, LD, MR, SH, VI, HI, PI, deaf/blind, ECSE) teacher and/or general education: elementary education, middle school, high school: English, math, science, social studies, Spanish, family & consumer science, business
