Job Summary
Provide comprehensive child development and parent support services to families with children from prenatal to age 3 through weekly home visiting and regular group socializations, emphasizing parents as the child’s first and most important relationships. Collaborate with families and community providers to ensure child and family health and well-being; engage in culturally responsive and linguistically appropriate services; support families in achieving health, safety, literacy, and developmental goals; maintain effective data collection and reporting to inform program improvements; promote parent leadership and advocacy through engagement in trainings and community opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Current home visitor’s child development associate (CDA) credential
- Minimum 3 years of experience working directly with children from prenatal to 3 years of age and their families OR Associates degree or higher in Early childhood education or child development WITH training or coursework focused on infant and toddler development and family relations AND minimum 1 year of experience working directly with children from prenatal to 3 years of age and their families
