Job Summary
Develop and implement individualized educational plans and activities for families with children ages birth to three using the Creative Curriculum and Parents as Teachers model. Deliver weekly one-on-one home visits lasting at least 90 minutes, conduct health checks, and administer developmental assessments while documenting findings. Facilitate monthly group socialization activities, assist parents in building parenting skills, and connect families to community resources and support services. Participate in agency outreach events, supervision meetings, and workshops to advance parent leadership and civic engagement. Requires a Child Development Associate credential, Gateway Family Specialist Credential level 3, and bi-lingual Spanish/English proficiency. Full-time position based in Chicago.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Child Development Associate (CDA)
- Gateway Family Specialist Credential level 3 (minimum)
- Bi-lingual Spanish/English
- Valid Driver's License
- use of a dependable insured car
