Job Summary
Provide direct weekly service to enrolled families using an evidence-based curriculum to strengthen parent-child bonds, teach positive discipline, and support childhood development. Collaborate with families to set personal goals and connect them with resources that promote self-sufficiency and future success. Maintain proper documentation and notes in a fast-paced environment while utilizing Microsoft Office Suite and technology for job duties. This bilingual role supports the Early Head Start Program's mission to prevent child abuse and neglect by nurturing strong families in Arizona.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education, Social Work or related field
- 1+year of related experience in infant/toddler education and/or family case management
- Must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A personal vehicle required for daily use for travel to families' homes
- A clean five-year motor vehicle history and a valid Arizona Driver's license
- A level one fingerprint clearance card or the ability to obtain one prior to starting
- English/Spanish capabilities required
Desired Qualifications
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable with technology in performing job duties
- Home Visitation experience with a focus on child development a plus
- Multi-tasking skills that will support proper documentation and note taking in a fast paced environment
- Prior experience working with pregnant women
