Job Summary
Lead the installation of energy-efficiency upgrades for homes across the greater Memphis, TN area, supporting utility and weatherization programs. Perform installations (attic insulation, air sealing, LED lighting, fixtures, thermostats, water heaters), minor repairs on windows/doors, load/unload materials, maintain clean and safe sites, diagnose/troubleshoot issues per utility specs, and complete required documentation and daily status updates. Requires 1–3 years of related experience, basic plumbing/electrical know-how, high school diploma/GED, and ability to work both independently and with a team. BPI certification is preferred or obtainable within 3–6 months (company-sponsored). This is a safety-sensitive role that may involve field work and driving; applicants must meet DOT and driving record requirements where applicable.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1-3 years of experience in residential construction, field service, in-home customer service, or installation work
- Basic plumbing and/or electrical experience required
- BPI certification preferred, or willingness to obtain within 3-6 months (company-sponsored)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while also leading and supporting a team
- Valid driver''s license
