Job Summary
Home Therapy RN I Trainee role involving coordination of patient care for home dialysis patients, performing home visits to assess home suitability for patient dialyzing, acting as a patient teacher and advocate, ensuring informed consent for treatment decisions, and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary health team. Trainee will develop skills through continuing education, quality assessment and improvement, and application of research findings; role includes ethical practice development and mentorship from a preceptor. The position supports new graduate RNs and emphasizes building relationships with patients and staff while enabling patients to achieve independence and quality care.
Required Qualifications
- Current, active, unencumbered state RN licensure
- Current Healthcare Provider certification (CPR)
- Graduation from an accredited nursing school or equivalent
