Job Summary
Prioritize team resources and workstack items to achieve home profit and growth targets. Analyze loss, policy, quote, and market data to identify pricing improvements, then critically review technical models to determine optimal model combinations and identify segments for price optimization. Develop new insights by integrating data and innovative techniques, while creating automated tools to source new pricing leads. Collaborate with actuarial, data science, underwriting, and digital teams to represent the home group on wider projects. Lead two analysts through peer reviews, coaching, and mentoring to ensure fair customer outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Strong general insurance background/knowledge
- Strong Analysis and coding experience
- Comfortable working with and analysing numerical/statistical data
- Collaborates well with colleagues from own team and other teams
- Good communication skills, written and verbal
- Thirst for making change / Inquisitive, curious nature
