Job Summary
Support individuals with intellectual disabilities in your home by assisting with daily living skills like cooking, budgeting, and cleaning. Provide medication administration, transportation, and behavioral support while helping them build community connections and pursue personal goals. Maintain documentation and communicate with the Mosaic support team to ensure safe, consistent care. This role requires residing in Pontiac or surrounding Illinois counties, owning or renting your own home, and holding a valid DSP license. You will receive initial and ongoing training alongside dedicated team support.
Required Qualifications
- Must reside in Pontiac or the surrounding areas in Illinois
- Must own or rent your current home
- Must be a current resident of the state of Illinois
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have active homeowner's or renter's insurance
- Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current vehicle insurance
- Must have internet access and basic computer skills
- Must be able to complete required screenings, background checks, and training
- Must be a registered healthcare worker (DSP)
