Job Summary
Drive a truck safely and efficiently to pick up donations, new goods, salvage, and trash from donor homes, businesses, and donation centers for transport to retail locations. Coordinate daily truck scheduling and routing with the Donations Manager and Scheduling Coordinator. Maintain transportation logs, ensure vehicles are stocked and safe, and perform general preventative maintenance. Occasionally supervise and train new material handlers while driving outside the plant. Lift up to 100 pounds with assistance and work in outdoor weather conditions. Travel throughout the State of Arkansas.
Required Qualifications
- Valid state driver's license
- Insurable by the company's insurance carrier
- Ability to pass a DOT physical
- Ability to pass a drug screen
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to lift 100 pounds with assistance
- Ability to drive all types of company vehicles safely
- Ability to travel throughout the State of Arkansas
