Job Summary
Solicits residential loan applications, quotes mortgage rates, and compiles complete loan packages for submission to underwriting; develops external referral sources; supports customers from assigned branches; meets loan production goals; provides exceptional customer service; ensures regulatory compliance; collaborates with loan processors, title companies, and other parties to complete loan packages; adheres to NPPI protections and bank policies.
Required Qualifications
- Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) registration through the Nationwide Mortgage License System and Registry (NMLS)
- Securities licenses, including Series 7 and Series 66
- Minimum five (5) years of direct experience in mortgage lending or a related field
- Education: Highschool Diploma or GED
- Professional customer service and communication skills
- Residential mortgage products, lending practices, and regulatory requirements
- In banking and mortgage-related technology systems (Microsoft 365, loan origination platforms)
