Job Summary
Home Health Nurse (RN) for full-time position in Gunnison Valley Health, Colorado. Administer skilled nursing care to patients requiring intermittent professional nursing services, conduct initial evaluation visits, regularly re-evaluate patient needs, initiate and adjust the plan of care, and coordinate services with physicians and other personnel. Duties include counseling patients and families, participating in in-service programs, and supervising/teaching other nursing personnel. Requires Nursing Degree and Colorado RN license; minimum one year of relevant hospital or skilled nursing facility experience; CPR certification; valid driver’s license and automobile insurance. Wound care experience is a plus. Compensation includes $33.00-$51.15/hour DOE, clinical ladder opportunities, and relocation/housing assistance. Schedule emphasizes Day shifts, Monday-Friday with autonomy in a supportive team; full benefits and paid time off. Location is Gunnison, CO, USA with onsite responsibilities; total compensation includes benefits and potential bonuses.
Required Qualifications
- Nursing Degree
- current RN license from the state of Colorado
- minimum one year experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or other comparable institution
- Wound care experience a plus
- Valid Driver’s License, current automobile insurance, reliable transportation
- current CPR certification
