Job Summary
Home Medical Equipment Driver role coordinating intake, orders, and delivery of HME and supplies. Responsibilities include liaising with referral sources, providers, patients, and internal teams; validating medical necessity; documenting in EMR; coordinating deliveries and equipment fit/education for patients and caregivers; processing POS transactions; and ensuring compliance with Medicare/Medicaid and privacy rules. Field/delivery duties may include timely home deliveries; schedule includes Monday–Friday with 11:30am–8:00pm hours, on-call 8–12 days/month, and training in South Jordan. Emphasizes exceptional customer service, accurate data entry, insurance verification, and cross-department collaboration to ensure seamless service and proper equipment setup. Proficiency in basic computer applications, strong communication, and ability to adapt to changing priorities in a team-oriented environment are required.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in a customer service role, with professionalism, empathy, and responsiveness.
- Current driver’s license, insured and reliable transportation (will be verified).
- Ability to understand and speak English clearly, follow verbal and written instructions, and communicate effectively with patients and team members.
