Job Summary
Home Medical Equipment Tech I delivers equipment to patients’ homes, sets up devices, and instructs patients on operation. The role includes rotating through an on-call schedule to cover the territory during non-business hours, and responsibilities for maintaining and cleaning equipment, vehicles, and facilities to keep equipment patient-ready. Requires MA, EMT, or LPN (or equivalent) training/experience and a valid Michigan driver’s license to travel to patient homes; vaccination requirements are specified. This position is in-person based in Traverse City, MI and involves collaboration within Munson Healthcare’s patient-care teams.
Required Qualifications
- MA, EMT, LPN, or equivalent training and experience
- Current Michigan motor vehicle license and able to drive to deliver equipment to patients’ homes
- Vaccination for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella or immunity; flu vaccine during flu season or approved exemption
