Job Summary
Conduct initial inquiry calls for prequalification, take complete applications, and review documentation with Home Lending Advisor(s). Discuss products and pricing independently or in collaboration with advisors, while proactively reviewing complex files to identify problems and arrange workable solutions before submission. Manage the loan pipeline by communicating status updates to advisors and borrowers, preventing pipeline fallout, and coordinating submissions and closings with established realtors. Assist in staffing open houses and trade shows, and support advisors in achieving annual loan funding targets and laptop origination usage.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in sales and/or real estate
- A minimum of four years' work experience in mortgage loan processing
- Intermediate computer skills (familiar with MS Office products or similar software)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent written/oral communication
- Excellent organization skills
- Ability to demonstrate control, flexibility, and maintain quality and high productivity when dealing with customers and changing work demand
- This position is subject to the Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for Loan Originators
