Job Summary
Home Lending Assistant supports Home Lending Advisors to manage loan applications, prequalification, and documentation requests, coordinating submissions with a network of realtors/builders and handling marketing to buyers, sellers, and open houses. The role emphasizes aligning with Home Lending Advisors to ensure a smooth loan process, maintaining pipeline updates, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring regulatory compliance related to lending products. Key skills include interpersonal communication, organization, problem solving to identify potential loan issues, and proficiency with MS Office as part of daily operations. The position requires collaboration across branch, processing center, and realtors/builders to fund and close loans and contribute to achieving production targets.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in sales and/or real estate
- A minimum of four years’ work experience in mortgage loan processing
- Intermediate computer skills (familiar with MS Office products or similar software)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent written/oral communication
- Excellent organization skills
- Ability to demonstrate control, flexibility, and maintain quality and high productivity when dealing with customers and changing work demand
