Job Summary
Conduct initial inquiry calls for prequalification, take complete applications, and request documentation from borrowers while reviewing files with Home Lending Advisor(s). Discuss products and pricing, proactively review complex files to identify potential problems, and arrive at workable solutions prior to submission to processing. Manage the pipeline by communicating updates to advisors and borrowers, preventing pipeline fallout, and coordinating submissions and closings with advisors, the branch, processing center, and established realtors. Assist in staffing Realtor and builder open houses and trade shows, while establishing annual loan funding targets to support advisor production. This role supports the team in guiding clients to homeownership and achieving strong sales results.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in sales and/or real estate
- A minimum of four years' work experience in mortgage loan processing
- Intermediate computer skills (familiar with MS Office products or similar software)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent written/oral communication
- Excellent organization skills
- Ability to demonstrate control, flexibility, and maintain quality and high productivity when dealing with customers and changing work demand
- This position is subject to the Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for Loan Originators
