As an A/V Rack Specialist at Realm, assemble AV equipment racks per approved shop drawings, mount DSPs, amplifiers, switchers, control processors, power distribution units, and network devices; fabricate and terminate audio, video, control, and network cabling to industry standards; perform cable management, labeling, lacing, and strain relief for serviceability and airflow; power up racks with proper voltage, grounding, and sequencing; record, update and maintain IP address, serial and MAC address spreadsheets; prepare racks for shipment, including securing equipment and protecting cabling. Qualifications include understanding of AV signal flow, the ability to read schematics, rack elevations, and wiring diagrams, eagerness to learn and adapt to new skills in the A/V field, and a professional attitude with meticulous attention to detail.
