Job Summary
Provide instruction to students unable to participate in their current educational program due to medical or disciplinary reasons, with sessions scheduled by the instructor and parent on school days only. Communicate regularly with the teacher of record regarding curricular expectations, assignments, and grading. Maintain flexibility and compassion when serving unique student needs, including potential hospital settings. Complete required fingerprinting and attach certification proof to the application. Note that external hires are independent contractors with variable hours based on student demand.
Required Qualifications
- Valid NYS teaching certificate
- Must be fingerprinted through the NYS Dept of Education
