Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive residential inspections evaluating structural, mechanical, and safety systems, including navigating attics, crawl spaces, and hard-to-reach areas. Perform pre-purchase, pre-listing, and maintenance inspections to provide clear, reliable insights into property conditions for buyers, sellers, and homeowners. Communicate findings clearly in person and in writing to ensure clients understand the true state of their properties. Complete up to 10 inspections weekly with weekend availability. Requires an active Massachusetts Home Inspector License, NHIE certification, and ability to lift 50 pounds. Required Qualifications
- An active Massachusetts Home Inspector License
- National Home Inspector Examination (NHIE) certification
- A High School Diploma or GED
- Proven experience in property inspection or a closely related field
- A strong grasp of structural and mechanical systems
- The physical ability to navigate attics and crawl spaces
- The physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- The physical ability to differentiate colors
- A valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Capacity to complete up to 10 inspections per week
- Availability for at least 2 weekend appointment slots
