Job Summary
Home Infusion RN responsible for administering infusion therapies (IVIG, monoclonal antibodies, enzyme replacement, clotting factors) in patients' homes and other settings, delivering patient-centered care, assessing safety and efficacy during infusions, educating patients and families, collaborating with physicians and pharmacists, documenting care promptly, and pursuing ongoing professional development; requires an active RN license, 3+ years nursing experience, excellent IV skills, strong communication, and ability to work independently within a home care environment.
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid RN license
- Minimum of 3 years nursing experience
- Excellent IV skills
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a home care setting
- Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) documentation
- Previous experience in critical care areas preferred
- Minimum of 1 year in hospital infusion therapy, home infusion therapy preferred
- Certification in infusion therapy (CRNI) is a plus
