Job Summary
Home Infusion RN - Independent Contractor providing in-home infusion therapy and patient education (TPN, IVIG, IV biologics). Conduct in-home visits, document nursing interventions, educate patients, coordinate with pharmacy, assess patients, develop care plans, and revise plans as needed. Requires RN license, 5+ years in home infusion, CRNI preferred, experience with IV therapies, phlebotomy, pediatric/adult care, strong communication, and CPR/BLS certification. Flexible per diem schedule as an independent contractor.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school with a current RN state license
- 5+ years of experience in home infusion and infusion centers
- 3+ Experience with IV Immunoglobulins and IV Biologics
- Experience with peripheral IV starts, infusion therapy, and phlebotomy for both adult and pediatric patients
- Effective interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Organizational ability to maintain consistently accurate records
- Proficient in computer skills, including word processing, and efficient use of the internet and email
- Current CPR and BLS (Red Cross and AHA) certification, valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance
