Job Summary
RN with specialized home infusion experience providing in-home infusion visits, patient education, and coordination with pharmacy and care teams. Responsibilities include conducting in-home infusion therapy per plan of care, documenting interventions, educating patients on therapy protocols and potential side effects, acting as a liaison among patient, family, and pharmacy, developing and adjusting care plans, and ensuring adherence and safety. Requires familiarity with infusion therapies (TPN, IVIG, IV biologics), strong nursing judgment, and ability to work independently as an Independent Contractor in a per-diem, flexible schedule. Certifications in CPR/BLS and a valid driver’s license are required; CRNI certification is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current RN license
- 2+ years of experience in home infusion/infusion centers
- Experience with IV immunoglobulins and IV biologics (CRNI certification preferred)
- Experience with peripheral IV starts, infusion therapy, and phlebotomy (adult and pediatric)
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Excellent organizational skills and record-keeping
- CPR and BLS certifications
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
