Job Summary
Administer infusion therapies, including IVIG, monoclonal antibodies, enzyme replacement, and clotting factor, following physician orders and established protocols. Assess and monitor patients during therapy to ensure safety, educate families on procedures and self-care, and collaborate with physicians to develop care plans. Provide comprehensive assessments and document activities accurately. Requires current RN license with 3+ years experience, IV skills, and critical thinking. Certification (CRNI) preferred. Reports to Area Director of Infusion Services.
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid RN license
- A minimum of 3 years nursing experience
- Excellent IV skills
- Passion for working with patients
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a home care setting
- Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) documentation
- Previous experience in critical care areas
- Minimum of 1 year in hospital infusion therapy
- Minimum of 1 year in home infusion therapy
Desired Qualifications
- Certification in infusion therapy (CRNI)
- Preferred area of expertise to include pediatrics and adult medical care
