Job Summary
Administer infusion therapies including IVIG, monoclonal antibodies, enzyme replacement, and clotting factor following physician orders and established protocols. Assess and monitor patients during treatment to ensure safety and efficacy while educating families on procedures, side effects, and self-care. Collaborate with physicians and pharmacists to develop care plans and provide comprehensive physical and psychosocial assessments. Document patient activities, treatment plans, and outcomes promptly. Maintain a steady caseload of adult patients in a home care setting with a minimum of three years nursing experience and current RN licensure. Certification in infusion therapy is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid RN license
- A minimum of 3 years nursing experience
- Excellent IV skills
- Passion for working with patients
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a home care setting
- Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) documentation
- Previous experience in critical care areas
- Minimum of 1 year in hospital infusion therapy
- Minimum of 1 year in home infusion therapy
Desired Qualifications
- Certification in infusion therapy (CRNI)
- Preferred area of expertise to include pediatrics and adult medical care
