Job Summary
Administer IVIG and other specialty infusions per provider orders for a patient near Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio. Assess patient response, monitor for adverse reactions, and manage IV access including peripheral lines, PICCs, and ports. Provide patient and caregiver education regarding therapy and post-care while maintaining detailed documentation in compliance with clinical standards. Communicate effectively with care coordination and pharmacy teams to ensure seamless service delivery. Requires an active Texas RN license, minimum one year of IV infusion experience, and reliable vehicle. Mileage reimbursement applies for all patient travel.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (or Compact State)
- Minimum 1 year of IV infusion or acute care experience
- Strong IV initiation and vascular access skills
- Current BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross)
- Reliable vehicle
- Valid drivers license
- Auto insurance
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience with IVIG or home infusion therapy
- CRNI® certification or similar infusion specialty credential
