Job Summary
Provide in-home infusion therapy by administering IV and injectable medications, performing pre-treatment assessments, and monitoring patients for adverse reactions. Educate patients and caregivers on medication management and post-infusion guidance while documenting all clinical activities and follow-up communications. Support pharmacy operations through inventory management, quality control, and insurance verification for specialty medications. Travel up to two hours from El Paso to patient residences, working 32-40 hours weekly with full benefits. Certified nurses may mentor new staff in immunoglobulin therapy delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN)
- Valid driver's license
- Automobile insurance coverage
- Access to a reliable automobile
- College degree or certification
- 2 years of RN experience
- 1 year of ER/ICU/Infusion experience
- 1 year of Accessing PIV lines, Ports and maintaining PICC lines experience
- 1 year of Infusion experience in a hospital or Home Health setting
- Must be willing to travel up to 2 hours out from El Paso, TX
