Job Summary
Administer prescribed infusion therapies in patients' homes, starting and maintaining peripheral IVs and central lines as ordered. Monitor patients during and after infusions, completing Start of Care assessments and accurate documentation. Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans while collaborating with physicians and the healthcare team. Work 8-hour shifts on a 4-day monthly schedule with opportunities for additional cases. BrightStar Care Home Care delivers high-quality, one-on-one care in the comfort of patients' homes in Hunterdon County, NJ.
Required Qualifications
- Active New Jersey RN license or Compact RN license
- Experience administering infusion therapy
- Experience with peripheral IV starts and central line care/access
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Excellent clinical skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent documentation skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience completing Start of Care (SOC) assessments
