Home Infusion Nurse - Weekend PRN - North Orange County

Job Summary

Coordinate and provide intermediate direct patient care to patients in the home or alternate infusion suite, initiating nursing plans of care, administering medications, and educating families. Assess patient needs through health data access and interviews, modifying treatment plans based on changing status or physician orders. Provide training and mentorship to Infusion Nurse I's, communicate with the clinical team and providers to ensure continuity, and prepare real-time clinical documentation for billing optimization. Manage PICC/Midline insertion and line care troubleshooting as needed, while participating in multidisciplinary conferences and on-call responsibilities. Works Monday through Sunday with a 10-20 hour weekly schedule under structured supervision.

Required Qualifications

  • Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of practice
  • Minimum of 1 years of nursing experience
  • Current CPR certification
  • Required licensure to operate a motor vehicle in the state of practice
  • Access to a vehicle for business travel

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing as granted by an accredited school of nursing
  • 1-2 years of previous infusion nursing experience
