Job Summary
Home Improvement Financing Risk Manager overseeing credit, operational, and third‐party risks within unsecured home improvement lending. Leads compliance reviews, advises leadership on regulatory issues, and manages training. May supervise 1-2 analysts and works with Product, Credit, Compliance, and Vendor Management to maintain a healthy, scalable risk program. Located on-site in Salt Lake City, UT. Requires a Bachelor's degree and 10 years in compliance or related fields; CRCM certification is preferred. Strong analytical capabilities, knowledge of ORM/RCSA frameworks, policy development, and ability to lead risk initiatives and cross‐functional improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 10 years experience in compliance, quality assurance/control, audit or other related compliance function specific to a line of business
Desired Qualifications
- Masters degree
- Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager Certification (CRCM)
- Strong project management skills
- Experience in consumer lending risk, indirect/third-party lending, or specialty financing programs
- Background in home improvement financing, contractor networks, or point-of-sale lending models
- Experience partnering with Compliance, Legal, and Product teams to implement policy changes, resolve findings, or support audits
