Job Summary
Provide in-home speech-language pathology services to patients across Arlington, Alexandria, and surrounding Virginia communities. Conduct comprehensive speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing assessments; design and implement individualized treatment plans to improve communication, swallowing, and cognitive skills; deliver hands-on therapy and practical interventions; educate patients and caregivers for at-home exercises; track progress and adjust plans to ensure optimal outcomes; collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team and maintain accurate documentation to meet clinical standards.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Virginia SLP license and CPR certification
- 2+ years of experience as a Speech Therapist (home health experience preferred but not required)
- Strong clinical judgment and evidence-based practice skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
