Job Summary
Revenue Cycle EDI Systems Analyst for CenterWell Home Health (Humana) supporting, monitoring, and optimizing revenue cycle systems used for billing and claims management. Responsible for system configuration, process improvements to reduce denials and accelerate reimbursements, data analysis and dashboard reporting, CMS/HIPAA/compliance alignment, and EDI transaction management (837/835/270/271, etc.). Acts as liaison between internal teams and external partners to streamline revenue cycle performance, troubleshoot system issues, coordinate upgrades or integrations, train staff, and drive cross-functional improvement of workflows. Requires experience in healthcare revenue cycle and EDI, knowledge of HIPAA transactions, EMR/EHR systems, and clearinghouse platforms, with strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills. Travel may be required for training or meetings.
Required Qualifications
- 3 or more years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle and EDI, preferably in home health or post-acute care
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA transactions (837, 835, 270/271, etc.), EMR/EHR systems, and clearinghouse platforms
- Analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Understanding of healthcare regulations, reimbursement models, and compliance standards
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational abilities
