Home Health Tech provides basic nursing care in patients' homes under the supervision of a primary nurse, performing tasks such as bathing, oral hygiene, skin and foot care, back care, hair care, linen changes, bed making, ROM exercises, dressing changes, Foley catheter care, enemas, and other assigned duties per the Plan of Treatment. Responsibilities include assessing and recording vital signs, documenting visits, coordinating with the primary nurse and Home Health Clinical Manager, adhering to infection control, ensuring timely documentation, and maintaining professional communication and punctuality. The role involves organizing visit schedules, supporting cost-effective patient care, attending in-service programs, and collaborating with the care team to meet client needs. Compensation ranges from $17.33 to $28.07 per hour, with eligibility for benefits as part of Carle Health.
