Job Summary
Deliver speech therapy services as prescribed by physicians, including assessments, treatment administration, and care planning for assigned patients. Provide written evaluations defining patient needs, goals, and expected outcomes in conjunction with referring physicians' Plans of Treatment. Maintain the plan of care and communicate progress to physicians, Aveanna, and family members while coordinating discharge planning with the multidisciplinary health care team. Adhere to all patient care standards, licensure regulations, and state laws, including maintaining confidentiality and CPR certification. Full-time visits Monday through Friday. Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and current unrestricted SLP license in Minnesota and Wisconsin required.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA accredited college/university
- Current and unrestricted SLP license to practice in the state of practice (both MN and WI is required)
- Current CPR certification
- Valid Drivers License
- Proof of Automobile insurance
Desired Qualifications
- One (1) year of recent experience as a Speech Language Pathologist in an acute care setting
