Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' speech, language, and swallowing disorders to determine therapy needs. Develop and implement individualized speech therapy treatment plans while providing hands-on interventions to address communication and swallowing challenges. Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques, monitor progress, and adjust plans as necessary. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists to ensure comprehensive care and maintain accurate patient records. This PRN position offers flexible scheduling with the ability to choose preferred coverage areas.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Strong clinical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in home health or a related setting
